The Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy qualification gives you the knowledge, integrity, competency and proficiency to perform sports massage therapy on a range of clients. The course will provide you many opportunities to undertake professional practice outside of lectures working with both amateur and international athletes, this will enhance your skills and confidence as a sports massage therapist. You will be qualified to work within an organisational setting or alternatively in a self-employed environment.
Course Dates, Cost & Location
Our courses are delivered part-time evening class running for 20 weeks (Monday Evenings) and include professional practice working with athletes at our venue and external partner sport clubs and athletes. You will also have opportunities to attend sporting events to provide massage services in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Our practical training courses are held at Lear Training Lisburn, near Belfast. There is easy access from the M1 motorway and public trains and buses, we also have ample free on-site parking.
If you want to secure your place on the course a total of £995.00, currently discounted to £750.00 (discount code required) may be paid either:
1. In full prior to course
2. By deposit of £250 at time of booking, plus payment of £745.00 (£500.00 with discount code) before the start of the course or
3. By deposit of £250 at time of booking, plus three monthly interim payments of £250.00 (£170.00 with discount code), includes admin fee.
4. Weekly or monthly payment plans available on request.
Please note that your deposit is non-refundable. If you start your practical training and then withdraw from the course you will still be liable for the full course fee.
Equipment and Other Costs
In addition to the course fee we advise for you to put in place student insurance cover to practice outside of directed training. Insurance costs start from £30 and can be upgraded to full insurance on successful completion of your qualification.
All oils and equipment required to practice during directed training and events is included in course fees.
